Livestock Festival Shenanigans

At the weekend I was lucky enough to go to the first Livestock Festival in Longdon, near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, although Sunday morning I didn’t feel too lucky. I’m not a big drinker; I can go months on end without a drop of alcohol so don’t always know my limits… I may have had one too many on Saturday night. I will not be drinking for a long time now, back of the clean living!
It was a great festival with good food, great atmosphere and fantastic line up including Scouting for Girls, The Feeling, Toploader and Jermain Jackman. I’ve been a fan of Scouting for Girls since they began but never seen them live and I saw The Feeling at Big Feastival a couple of years ago and thought they were great so I was pleased with the line up.
There was food to suit anyone including pizzas and burritos so there was no need to go hungry. Although we didn’t camp (its only just up the road), I did have friends that camped nd they thought it was great.
It hasn’t been announced yet whether Livestock will be making a return next year, but if it does I would recommend a visit, if only for a day if like me you are not a fan of camping. I’m sure we will be there too!
