It’s all change…!

Wow how is it April already? It has been the busiest few months ever and unfortunately I have been pretty quiet on the blog front, other things have had to take priority but I am now really excited to get blogging again! Over the last couple of months a lot has changed, I have started a new job and we have finally moved house, into the house we have spent the last three years renovating which has been pretty exciting. I am really enjoying my new job, especially as I now get every Friday afternoon off. It makes up for working six days a week or as the other half likes to regularly point out I now only work......

The Tower Over London

Life has been pretty hectic recently and I’ve been really feeling the strain so as my other was planning a trip to an exhibition in London last week I decided to use it as an excuse for a few days away. We went to the exhibition on Tuesday morning so we had the rest of the day free to enjoy ourselves and decided to take a trip to Tower Brige. My other half used to live in London and when we first met we lived just outside London and spent a large amount of our time in the city however we rarely took advantage of the abundance of tourist attractions. Mexican Feast Wahaca Style

As you have probably already realised I love eating out so when I was away with work in London a couple of weeks ago I was excited to try somewhere different. Unfortunately at the last minute the colleague I was meant to be travelling with had to drop out so I had to head to London on my own. I was now in need of somewhere I would feel comfortable eating on my own, I couldn’t decide what to do so went for a wonder. I don’t particularly like my own company and if I’m honest I really dislike being on my own so wasn’t really keen on dining alone. Luckily I soon came across Wahacas, which seemed an......

Afternoon Tea at Stanbrook Abbey

You might remember me posting a few weeks ago about my Granny’s 90th birthday, well I couldn’t decide what gift to get her so instead decided to get together with my cousins and take her out for the afternoon instead. We took her to Ellenborough Park for afternoon tea early last year and she loved it so we knew she would enjoy another afternoon tea outing. We couldn’t decide where to go, but as we wanted to make sure it was special and I’d heard good things about Stanbrook Abbey, in Callow End, Worcestershire it was an easy choice. We were so undecided where to go that we left booking to just a few days before. When we arrived......
